Hej allesammen!

Men april er oftest regnfuld i New York. April showers bring May flowers, som New Yorkerne siger.

Kan I have en dejlig søndag folkens <3

Translation:

Hi everyone! How are you? Are you enjoying your Sunday, and did you have a lovely weekend?

I am so busy with my aforementioned creative project (which I talked a little about here!) and of course my job. Therefore, the blog has, unfortunately, suffered a bit because of that. I don’t really like to apologize for it, but I’m trying to get it everything done. Enough about that..

The other day I was wearing the most beautiful brocade jacket with pink roses and a printed t-shirt in vintage style. If you have been following the blog for a while, you know how much I love tees with print, and this one from Anine Bing is pretty 80’s cool, in both motif and colors. What do you think about the boots? I think it’s a love or hate shoe, haha! But I say; LOVE! They are so crazy in the purple velvet, that shifts in the most beautiful purple shades depending on the light – sometimes a warmer shade of purple, sometimes a cold purple. In general, I am crushing a little over shoes in fabric at the moment, especially velvet and satin. I need more of these materials for my feet, in the spring and summer. Are you on the velvet and satin wave? It is a bit different than leather, somewhat more festive and delicate.

The weather is so fantastic this weekend in NYC, next week seems to be really nice too. My birthday is on Wednesday, so I cross my fingers for no rain. But April is usually rainy in New York. April showers bring May flowers, as New Yorkers say.

Have a beautiful Sunday folks <3
